Mr. B has been teaching for over 10 years.  He has taught grades 3-5 in charter schools and public schools across the metro Detroit area.  He has seen consistent growth amongst his students with test scores and overall skills gained throughout the school year.

As an educator, building relationships is an absolute must if teaching to the "whole" child is a goal.  Building relationships, finding connections, and engaging in meaningful, genuine conversations are all keystones to Mr. B's approach and philosophy to education.

As a parent, Mr. B understands that little breaks at home are underrated and often times, few and far between.  Along with academic benefits, allow Mr. B to give you some time to yourself.  Even if to get their things together for the next day without disruption or take care of some household chores/duties, utilize this service as an added bonus.

When in the classroom, Mr. B's approach to teaching involves creativity designed to inspire and engage, but not distract.  He also supports and pushes students to bring out their creative sides.

Along with assisting academically, Mr. B will provide guidance and insight from a life perspective.  As the saying goes, "it takes a village to raise a child", the more significant members of that village, the better.

During the time spent with your child, Mr. B will approach every session with a genuine attitude about enhancing their needs.  Whether academically or socially, needs will be met with care and compassion.  Each child will be treated respectfully, as a mature learner and responsible member of society.  Your child will leave each session with a feeling of positivity, accomplishment, joy, or all of the above.
